Hosting Options

Cogynt can be deployed and hosted via two methods:

  1. Self-Hosted
  2. Cogility-Hosted

Self-Hosted Deployments

In this option, the customer chooses to host Cogynt within their Virtual Private Cloud (VPC), which requires a greater set of responsibilities than the Cogility Cloud option.

The following table delineates the responsibilities. A checkmark (✓) indicates a responsible party, while an X indicates that the party is not responsible:

Version UpdateXAlthough customers choose when to update their version of Cogynt, some updates may be designated as Long Term Support (LTS). Any version older than the LTS is considered deprecated.

There are a number of considerations that a customer should carefully review before choosing this deployment option. For more information, see Self-Hosted Deployment Overview.

Note

Contact Cogility Sales & Support for assistance with any of the aforementioned functions.

Cogility-Hosted Deployments

In this option, the customer elects to have Cogility host and operate Cogynt. By choosing this option, Cogility is made responsible for a number of functions.

The following table delineates the responsibilities. A checkmark (✓) indicates a responsible party, while an X indicates that the party is not responsible:
