Default Roles

Any user that logs into Cogynt after the initial Super Admin user is automatically granted the general role. This role is created by the system.

By default, the general role is not granted access to any system functions. It is recommended that the Super Admin or any other admin-like users configure the general role to contain the appropriate permissions before non-admin users log in to the system.

The general role can be renamed to better represent the use case of the organization (for example, "Default", "Read Only", etc.), as the automatic assignment of new users to this role references an immutable ID to identify the original general role.
