Filtering Collections

Collections can contain data in the form of custom fields, participants, status and more that are useful when searching and narrowing results. Filters, visible at the top of the collections widget, exclude results that do not fit the user-defined criteria.

note

Paginated results returned include up to 100 collections per page.

Applying Filters

Filters applied to collections can fine tune results and exclude irrelevant or archived collections.

To filter the collections widget:

  1. To the left of the search bar in an open Collections widget, click the filter button.
  2. Select the desired filter:
    • Created At filters by timestamp of creation date.
    • Updated At filters by timestamp of last update date.
    • Assigned to filters collections assigned to the selected user or by the current user (me).
    • Participants filters collections where the selected user is a participant.
    • Status filters collections based on their collection status.
    • Tags filters collections by tags. Filter by Is Empty to filter only collections with no tags assigned.
    • Priority filters collections by their assigned priority.
    • Custom Fields filters collections by the selected custom fields.
    • Users can also toggle whether to search for archived collections. Tick or untick Archived search term.
  3. Click the filter button after selecting all desired filters to apply them.

Clearing Filters

Filters applied to the collections widget display above columns as chips. Each filter can be removed individually when clicking the X button on that chip. If needed, filtered Collections widgets can be cleared to return the collections widget to its default state.

To clear filters:

  1. At the top right side of an open Collections widget, click the more menu button.
  2. When ready to reset filters, click Reset Filters. All filters reset and the widget reloads without filters applied.
