Super Admin

The first user that logs into a fresh installation of Cogynt is automatically granted a Super Admin role. This role grants the user all permissions to all available Cogynt functions and applications (Authoring, Data Management, Workstation, Audit Viewer, User Management, and Model Doc).

After a new Cogynt environment is installed, it is highly recommended to have any users that should have admin status log in to the environment first.

In the rare case of an authentication provider changing after system set up, the Super Admin role is automatically set to the default role again.

As of Cogynt 2.10.X, other users that log into a system without another default role defined are also assigned the Super Admin role. There can be multiple Super Admins, and Super Admin roles can be the default role.

Only Super Admins can revoke the Super Admin role from other users. However, it is not possible to revoke a role from one's own account.
