Deploying Models to Cogynt Workstation

Once you've finished building a model, the next step is to put the model to use by deploying it to Cogynt Workstation. You'll deploy the model from Cogynt Authoring.

To deploy your model:

1. On the project homepage, click the system panel (☰) icon.
2. Click Deployments.
3. In the Deployment Management dialog, click the Deployments tab.
4. Click +.
5. In the Create Deployment dialog:
   1. In the Name field, enter a name for the deployment. (For this exercise, "Hello-world-deployment" is recommended.)
   2. Under Deployment Target, confirm that the deployment target you created is selected.
   3. Under Deploy Entities, select the event pattern you created.
   4. Click Create.
6. Back in the Deployment Management dialog, the deployment you created appears in the list of available deployments. Click its Deploy icon.
7. In the Confirm Deployment dialog, click Deploy.

Once you've confirmed the operation, the deployment's status changes in the Deployment Management dialog:

• The status is Creating while the deployment is being prepared.
• The status is Running once the deployment is active.

After your deployment is Running, you can move on to creating views in Workstation to analyze and visualize your data.
